One of my areas of expertise is the treatment of chronic pain and other physical symptoms associated with anxiety and depression.

When it comes to treating neural pathway chronic pain, I work from a neural biological perspective. I help clients gain accurate education about pain and other physical symptoms that are experienced in the body and collaborate to find the unique barriers that are keeping clients in the pain-fear cycle. In addition to exploring dynamic patterns, utilizing Pain reprocessing Therapy and mindfulness meditation, I help my clients to develop self-compassion and deep self-awareness required to empower positive change, healing and ultimately deactivate the pain pathways in the brain. As the Executive Director of the Pain Psychology, I work intimately with my patients, while also working alongside Alan Gordon to train clinicians in Pain Reprocessing Therapy.
